However, there are still several challenges to be addressed to ensure fair access to fertility treatment for all LGBT+ parents, including issues related to NHS funding and transgender fertility patients. While the government’s proposed reforms are a step in the right direction, there is more work to be done to achieve true equity for LGBT+ parents.
